Effective October 24, 2026 · Version print-upload-terms-v1
These terms apply when you upload a file to our poster printing service at print.posterstudioexpress.com. They are part of our Terms of Sale and Store Policies for any print order you place. “We” means Red Circle Solutions LLC, doing business as Poster Studio Express.
1. Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 and legally able to make this agreement where you live. K-12 students must not upload files themselves; an adult uploads and orders for them. If you’re ordering for a school or other organization, you confirm that it allows you to.
2. Your file and your rights
- You confirm that you have the legal right to upload this file and to have it printed as you order, including any permissions the law requires.
- You keep your rights. You let us store, check, convert, preview, resize, crop, colour-adjust and print your file to show you previews, make and deliver your order, handle any reprint, and meet our legal duties.
- Our check isn’t a legal check. A person on our print team looks at every file before we print it, for print quality and against these terms. That doesn’t mean we’ve confirmed you have the rights to it.
- Please send print files only through the uploader. We don’t accept print files by email.
3. Photos of people, including students
Upload only images you’re allowed to give us and have printed for the use you intend. Get permission from the people shown, or from a parent or guardian, where the law requires it. If you’re uploading for a school, make sure your school allows you to use this service, and that any permissions it requires cover sending the image to us, our printing it, and how you’ll use the poster. Don’t upload student IDs, grades, health information or other private student records.
4. What we won’t print
We won’t print, and you must not upload:
- any sexual image of a child, or anything that sexualizes a child (see section 7);
- sexually explicit material;
- intimate or sexual images of a real person, including altered or AI-generated ones, without that person’s consent to this use;
- material that belongs to someone else, such as photos, artwork, characters or logos, unless you have permission or the law otherwise allows the use;
- material whose printing or use would unlawfully violate someone’s privacy or publicity rights, or falsely suggest that they endorse something;
- threats, targeted harassment, or material that promotes violence or hatred against people;
- false statements that harm someone’s reputation;
- counterfeit or fraudulent money, IDs, tickets, documents or coupons, material meant to impersonate a person or organization, or anything else illegal or meant to help commit a crime;
- files meant to harm our systems.
5. We can refuse a job
We can refuse or cancel any print job before it ships, including when we believe it breaks these terms. If a file seems to include someone else’s work, such as a character, a team or brand logo, or a professional photo like a school portrait, we may ask you to show that you have permission before we print it. If that would delay your print past our shipping time, we’ll tell you, and you can wait or cancel for a full refund. If you can’t show permission, or we don’t hear from you within 30 days of your order, we refuse the job. If we refuse an order you’ve paid for, we refund the print in full, including shipping and tax, to your original payment method within 7 business days. We’ll tell you we’ve refused it, and why, unless the law or someone’s safety means we can’t. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under the law or a separate signed purchasing agreement.
6. How long we keep your files
- Your original file: deleted as soon as our system has checked it and made the print-ready copy, normally within minutes. If anything goes wrong, a backup rule removes it automatically, usually within 2 days.
- Files you don’t order: deleted after 7 days.
- The small preview of your design: shown with your order for up to 7 days after you upload your file. The copy in your order emails stays in those emails, and in the sent copy of each order email that we keep.
- Files for an order: kept with your order records, so we can reprint if something goes wrong.
- Please keep your own copy of your file. We don’t keep your original. Your upload stays available in the browser tab where you uploaded it, for up to about 4 days. If you close that tab, after that time, or to order the same poster again later, please upload it again.
- Longer only where the law requires it, or where reasonably necessary for a legal claim, with access restricted, for example after a report of illegal content.
Our Privacy Policy explains what else we keep, who sees your files, and your choices. We never use your files in our marketing.
7. Reporting illegal content
If we find material that appears to show the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, we don’t print it. We report it, with the order and contact details we have, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline and to the police. We may report other illegal content to law enforcement where the law allows. We may do this without telling you.
8. If someone makes a claim because of your file
If you knowingly upload material you have no right to have printed, you’ll reimburse us for reasonable amounts we legally owe someone else because of it, plus reasonable legal fees where the law allows us to recover them. We’ll tell you promptly about the claim and let you take part in the defence. You don’t cover losses we caused, or a settlement you didn’t agree to. This section doesn’t apply to public schools, districts or other public bodies, and an employee ordering for an organization isn’t personally responsible under it.
9. Refunds, reprints and cancellations
Custom prints can’t be returned for a change of mind. Section 3A of our Store Policies explains our Custom Poster Print Limited Warranty, cancellations and shipping.
10. Concerns and changes
If you think we’ve printed, or are about to print, something that infringes your rights or shows you without your permission, email concerns@posterstudioexpress.com or call 866-788-7900. You don’t need an order number. We’ll check it without telling you who uploaded the file. We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you uploaded a file applies to that file’s order.
