Scholarship Details

  • Award Amount: $750 (One-time, non-renewable award)

  • Application Deadline: June 30, 2026

  • Winner Announced: July 31, 2026

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Poster Studio Express Visual Education Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a legal resident of the United States.

  • Must be a graduating high school senior accepted into an accredited U.S. college or university, OR a currently enrolled full-time undergraduate or graduate student.

  • Must be actively pursuing (or planning to pursue) a degree in Education, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Educational Technology, or a closely related field.

  • Must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Application Requirements

To apply for the $750 Visual Education Scholarship, applicants must submit a complete portfolio consisting of two parts: an original educational poster and an accompanying pedagogical essay.

Part 1: The Visual Design Project (The Poster) Design an educational poster that teaches a specific, recognized K-12 curriculum standard (e.g., Common Core Math, Next Generation Science Standards, or a specific state-level historical standard).

  • The Design: The poster must be visually engaging, age-appropriate for the target grade level, and clearly communicate the core concept.

  • The Constraint (No AI): The artwork must be 100% original and human-created. The use of generative AI tools (such as Midjourney, DALL-E, or AI-generated stock elements) is strictly prohibited. Submissions suspected of using AI generation will be immediately disqualified.

  • Format: Please submit your design as a high-resolution PDF or PNG.

Part 2: The 500-Word Impact Essay Write a 500-word essay explaining the strategy behind your design. Your essay must address:

  • Which specific curriculum standard you chose and why.

  • How the visual elements (color theory, layout, typography, and imagery) help students comprehend and retain the specific academic concept.

  • Why visual learning is critical in modern K-12 classrooms.

Terms & Intellectual Property Rights

By submitting an application to the Poster Studio Express Visual Education Scholarship, applicants confirm that all materials submitted, including essays and poster designs, are their own original work.

  • Applicant Ownership: Applicants retain ownership of their submitted materials. However, by entering the scholarship, applicants grant Red Circle Solutions LLC (DBA Poster Studio Express) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and share submitted poster designs and related application materials for marketing, promotional, editorial, and scholarship-related purposes. This includes use across Poster Studio Express websites, social media channels, marketing materials, and related platforms.

  • Winning Submission Rights: In addition, the scholarship winner grants Poster Studio Express permission to publish their name, school, essay, and winning submission for promotional and announcement purposes.

  • Original Work Requirement: All essays and poster designs must be 100% original, human-created work of the applicant. Use of AI-generated text, AI-generated artwork, plagiarism, or any unauthorized third-party content will result in immediate disqualification.

  • Data Privacy: Poster Studio Express takes student privacy seriously. We will never sell or knowingly share applicant email addresses or personal information with third parties. Information collected will be used only to verify eligibility, administer the scholarship, and contact applicants or the winner.

  • Award Distribution: The $750 scholarship award will be issued directly to the winning student’s accredited college or university financial aid office and may be applied toward tuition, fees, books, or on-campus housing. The winner must provide proof of enrollment before funds are distributed.

  • Non-Discrimination: The Poster Studio Express Visual Education Scholarship does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
